Welcome! I was raised in NC and have lived here all my life. I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who provides medication management for mental health wellness for all ages. I also have training in a variety of therapies modalities including EMDR, CBT, motivational interviewing, and solution focused therapy. I help you decide if medication is the right decision after an intensive intake and discussion of risk, benefits, and side effects. I specialize in depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, ADHD/ADD, PTSD and other mental illnesses. I preform evaluations for IEPs, 504s, and work and/or school accommodations. I work passionately as an advocate for removing the stigma of mental health. In my spare time I enjoy playing with my Yorkshire Terriers, including Portland, an emotional support Yorkie.
